Far East Network (FEN) Armed Forces Network (AFRTS) Philippines
Production music used in 1980-1981

December 2011 / updated July 2021 to fix broken links and add a few more identified songs

Following is a partial list of songs that the Far East Network (FEN) station used in their programming in 1980.

FEN Philippines was a detachment of the 6204th Broadcasting Squadron of Yokota AB, Japan. Frequencies as of 1980 were as follows: for television (all NTSC), Channel 8 at Clark (changed to Channel 17 in 1981), Channel 74 at Subic Bay, Channel 40 in the Binictican Housing Area, Channel 34 at the Kalayan Housing Area, Channel 28 at Cubi Point NAS, and Channel 34 at San Miguel. For radio, 1512 AM at Clark and San Miguel, 1300 AM at Subic and Cubi, 1314 AM wallace and Camp John Hay, and 95.1 FM at Clark (easy listening on FM, general programming on AM).

If you have video or audio tapes of AFRTS you'd like me to archive, drop me a note; I have special equipment for transfers.

Here is the list of songs used on the network. Some songs were proprietary AFRTS material and are not listed here.
